WPhone
So I’ve installed WPhone on all my blogs which has resulted in a
massive increase in the amount of shite I now spew forth onto the net
(not helped by my new blog which is even more random and pointless
than this one). It does have a nasty tendency to crash Safari on my
iPhone so I’m sticking to emailing longer blog entries when I’m not
at home.
I also can’t use my work computer to write email entries as troutlook
seems to put all kinds of crud into the mail and the disclaimer from
work gets published. This is a Bad Thing™. Nor can I email
photos from my iPhone, again because Wordpress doesn’t like the
format. Annoying, but I can do these posts from home. If things look a
bit skew chronologically it’ll be because some posts just have to
wait

I do so much love my iPhone. There is a bloke sat oposite me with some
kind of Palm type device. Yes, it has a proper keyboard, but he is
having to ponderously press each key and is getting a typing rate
about half of what I can manage. Best of all, every time he wants to
do something other than type he needs to retrieve the stylus, storing
it again when he wants to type again. Not so with my touch screen.
Real keyboards are overrated

It’s just occured to me that I can’t even blog via email from my work
computer as it adds a sodding great big disclaimer to the end of all
outgoing mail which would end up on the blog. Can still email from the
iPhone but its a bit more obvious that I am not working

So I’ve finally got round to sorting out posting via email. Also going
to look at WPhone this weekend which means posting from my iPhone will
be easier. Good news(?) for you lot is more posts. Also starting a new
blog project soon with my somewhererandom.com domain. More details later.
