So Blue has got herself a nice shiny new camera and is now feeling intimidated by all the button, dials, doohickies and gizmos on it, not to mention feeling slightly overwhelmed by the lingo. To try to solve this she’s asked me [the Alpha camera geek among you lot from what I can work out ] to give her a lesson or two in using her new toy. Personally I’m all for people getting into photography so happily agreed to meet up for a day of fun and photography one weekend at somewhere photogenic and easy to get to; like Kew [assuming you live in the South East of the UK ]. From reading other people’s comments on her blog thought it seems like she is not alone in her being afeared of moving off the green ‘idiot mode’ setting and there also appear to be other camera geeks out there too so I thought: ‘why not throw this open to everyone and organise some kind of London Meet type thing’. If you’re interested give me a shout. If not it’ll just be me and Blue

Spent 5 minutes this evening trying to pair my socks. They’re all black, it shouldn’t be that hard but for some reason none of the pairs match.I am very tempted to instigate Operation Sock. This would involve me going to M&S, buying 20 new pairs of identical socks then [and this is the crucial bit] removing all the old socks from my sock drawer, laundry basket, drawer at my girlfriends house and her laundry basket and throwing them all in the bin. Pairing wont matter then.
