Poor bastard
The church at the top of North Hill has masses of military types in full dress uniform, many people in black and a full set of camera crews. I can only surmise that it’s one of our lads being burried. Since moving to Colchester I’ve gotten to know a few guys in the army and there is always a slight worry when they announce another death in the middle east that it’ll be someone I know. My heart goes out to this guys family and friends.
It is one of the oldest of virtues to lay down your life for your Country. Our Government should be seriously analysing whether their requirement to suck up to Mr. Bush is even in the same league in importance as the life of one of these brave and virtuous Men.
