Seperation
I think this sums up today perfectly.
Have we still got time?
There was a time I thought
Time when I’d think I thought you knew me
And I knew you
And I’d talk to you and you’d speak to me
And I’d speak to you and you’d talk to me
But there’s no time
It’s a past crossed out, crossed out
Erased with a red line
We never speak at allIt’s over
I want to live
It’s over
I want to live
Something’s gone
It’s the light in your eyes, there’s no light in your eyes
Now you don’t love me
And I don’t love you
But I’m not telling you
Cos you mime and you lie, and you lie when you mime
Now you don’t talk to me
And I don’t talk to you
We’ll never speak againIt’s over
I want to live
It’s over
I want you live
You understand
You understand it must be broken
Destroyed
There’s no chance ’til it’s torn apart from the inside
But I’ll be rid of you
Now I know
Now I know I need it too
Give it to me
Give it to me
Give it to me
Give it to me
We’ll never speak again

Why did that sum up that day?
Erm.. I’d been single for a year and we don’t talk any more
Hmmmmm… been single since 25th June (this year). Got dumped in the middle of Glastonbury, and replaced with a man who’s been operated into a woman! (Go figure!). It was not exactly a good day. Need to find a track that suits my somewhat unique, circumstances!! Needless to say, we don’t talk anymore either.. So much for genuine female parts eh? ;-DDD One day I will laugh about this…
Wow - that’s pretty harsh
Off the top of my head, Zwitter by Rammstein is about hermaphrodites
@Nadia, How about “Somebody Told Me” by The Killers ?

Tell me about it, mind you, I didn’t laugh (much) when I found out that the first proper hot date with said he/she about 1 month after we split, flopped really badly.. he/she/it? smells like I man!!! Who’d have thought??? ;-DD Like the choice of tracks!! Thanks! On my way last night I decided to rummage around my glove compartment and out fell a cd I hadn’t listened to for a while, Linkin Park - Meteora, and what is the 2nd track? “Don’t Stay”… perfect! Hmmmm… bit school girlish to have a break up song so to speak, but blasted at full volume, it was rather therapeutic ! Mind you, “From the inside” on the same album works pretty well too!! LOL!
I suspect you’re better off without him since anyone that’s going to chase after a post op has probably got issues. Nothing wrong with breakup songs, I’ve got loads ranging from the quite pathetic to the really quite angry
Shall bung those two tracks on the iPod and give them a listen, been a while since I’ve heard them.
Post-ops… Spam Spam Spam Spam Spam… PURSE!!!!!!! ok… that was childish. *snigger*
