The outpourings of a deranged mind

Appeal Culture

This kind of thing just annoys me. You get a bunch of kids who beat someone to death because that person looks different and now they’re appealing the verdict, probably because they didn’t believe they’d get into trouble for doing it and they’re really, really sorry and promise to just knife people to wound them rather than killing them in future. There’s a general lack of respect from younger people these days and it seems the law to them is a joke. What we need is to instill some fear into them. Give them a reason to follow the rules. Arm the police, give them license to kill on the spot for certain crimes and bill the family for the bullet, cleanup and burial. None of this ASBO crap.

I think the appeal process in this case should be a gamble. Fail in your appeal and the sentence increases.

Actually, in this case, just shoot them.

… antisocial crimes like this (and grafittiing, vandalism, loitering) should be capital

Remember - we’re all probably paying for that appeal too. Well, some of us ;)

Was I the only one watching the BBC News piece on knife-crime the other day wishing that the kid who was repeatedly stuffing a cleaver down the front of his trousers would accidentally slip and injure himself?

What gets me is the mothers who are then trolled out who are completely agog that their ‘little angel’ could be associated with whatever hideous crime they’re accused of while it’s plainly obvious just by looking at the little oik that he beats up grannies for fun. Of course, if he then chopped his todger off while pissing about with a cleaver we could be a little lenient, if only so we could parade him for all to laugh at.
