Flower Watch: Carnations

My last lot of flowers were looking rather sad yesterday but unfortunately I’m not really going to be around much for the rest of this week so I was in two minds as to weather I should replace them. In the end I plumped for a couple of bunches of carnations as they last forever, are pretty cheap and generally take a few days to get to looking their best anyway. Hopefully when I get back at the end of the weekend they should all be out and looking great. For now they look like this:

    I have to say I’m not a huge fan of carnations, but those look pretty :) possibly a bigger vase next time though?

    Those two vases are quite large :-) They’re also the only two I have for the table. :-)

    You could also try chrysanthamums which look good in a block, are cheap, and last two weeks.

    Then there is always silk ……..
