This making up words crap that seems to go on in business has to stop. Productionize and productize were bad enough but upgradation? Some people just need a slap.

Some of the bizarre english words / phrases my offshore colleagues dream up are particularly frustrating.
“Can you do the needful” seems to have become a standard term in Indian English - it’s just SO WRONG!!
Yes. It really doesn’t help that we’ve standardised on American English where I work. Drives me nuts.
