The outpourings of a deranged mind

iPhone Smugness

I do so much love my iPhone. There is a bloke sat oposite me with some
kind of Palm type device. Yes, it has a proper keyboard, but he is
having to ponderously press each key and is getting a typing rate
about half of what I can manage. Best of all, every time he wants to
do something other than type he needs to retrieve the stylus, storing
it again when he wants to type again. Not so with my touch screen.
Real keyboards are overrated :-)

Sounds to me like he’s just rubbish at using it. Had another play with the iPhone last night. I guess it’s quite nice, growing on me, but still sadly over priced.

Perhaps when the next gen one comes out that’s not effectively teather to t’internet with a bit of virtual damp string…

Ok, first, fancy website having to log-in! Impressive. Too high tech for me :)
Next, I agree. iPhones sound amazing and all that, but are still way too much money. Even if you can type easier than those of us with last century Palm Pilots :)

It’s not too much money when you also consider it’s an iPod and people are quite happy to go and slap £many on one of those. Just because it’s also got a phone everyone is demanding it’s free. Also the 2.5G connection to the tinternetweb isn’t that bad at all, still, if you’re not buying one for a while it’s probably best to hang on for the 3G version.
