I need to know how many light bulbs are in One Canada Square (the big tower at Canary Wharf). Don’t ask why, I just need to know. Anyone have any ideas?

I’d say ballpark 8000. It certainly lights up nicely in the evening.
It really doesn’t matter how many light bulbs there are. Make a realistic guess (bulbs per floor x no. of floors + Xmas tree + spare bulbs + anything else = total number). Who will dispute it? I bet even the Facilities Manager doesn’t know how many there are. If somebody says you are wrong - challenge them. I doubt there is a person sad enough who will actually count them all to prove you right/wrong. So there you are. Any number is right.
Well there is that, but then it’s not me asking, I’m just seeing if I can get an answer for Bathgirl (apparently they know how many the Empire State building has). As for proving people wrong, I’ve been known to go to some pretty extreme lengths to make sure people know their wrong
