Going Postal… again :)
I am thinking of getting the definition of ‘going postal’ changed. Currently it’s used to describe an individual (usually, but not always, a lower or middle class American worker, but could equally be an American school child), almost certainly a male, going mad and killing lots of colleagues/classmates before killing themselves. Weapon if choice is normally a sword.
I would like to change the term to describe what I want to do to Royal Mail and there complete inability to deliver 2 orders from Amazon and a third delivery which is actually a replacement of the first order. Tomorrow Amazon will he sending a fourth delivery to replace the missing second order. This will result in several hundred quits worth of stuff floating round the postal’ system. If I do not get my 2 orders by Friday I think I’m going to go completely postal.
