Taken me a while to download these from the camera, but this is the view from the two windows in my hotel room when I last went to rock city. You’d never guess this is a premium room

Ahha .. have just done a google search and .. although the name has changed the hotel is the same one .. hence my recognising the view .. oooh do you think we slept in the same bed???
Can’t remember what room it was (it was a long time ago and a very very drunken (and debauched ;D ) weekend) .. but the view was - well - almost exactly the same (it was a Thistle when I stayed there)
Did you have to go up the stairs to the first floor, turn left, then through some doors, then left again, then more doors, then right, then left, then more doors, then more doors, possibly some more turns, more doors, more turns, doors, doors, doors, turns, more bloody doors and just as you were about to give up the will to live there were more doors and more turns followed by getting to the room at the end of a corridor (door on the right) with the bathroom from the room behind situated so that you could here everything that went on in there (person going into the room, person peeing, person doing teeth, person having shave, person taking shower) - if so it could well be the same room

And possibly the noisest heating system ever devised by mankind - paradoxicly it wasn’t the warmest room in the world.

That was the aircon, not the heating - hence it being so bloody cold
I shall sit corrected :p
