Random Fact #3
Insomnia sucks. It would seem I’m not alone in this. Of course, your normal, well balaced [sic] person would have just taken some more cold tablets and gone back to sleep. Not me. Oh no. That’s way too easy. Nope, I get up, get a drink [normal so far], throw back a bucket load of pills (cold pills, vitamin pills, herbal sleeping pills) [still fairly normal, although the herbal sleeping pills suck, all I can say is thank god you can't overdose on them because I've chucked 6 of those buggers down my throat tonight alone], bought a £200 limited edition sword and then blogged about it [yup, there's the insanity]. Let’s just hope I don’t get stopped by the police on Tuesday (which is when my purchase should be delivered to work) because I’ll also be having this delivered too. I’m off to try and eek out another couple of hours sleep from tonight. All I can say is thank god I went to bed at 8.

You say that, but at least I got the fun of going to the post room today and going “Hi, I’ll be getting two 4 foot long swords tomorrow, don’t panic”
I Also now have a t-shirt that says ‘meh’.
Still shattered though.
Shopping at 2am is always hit and miss because some days you find something that is exactly what you wanted/needed and has a coolness factor off the scale (Hiro’s sword for example)….othertimes the mail turns up and you’re left thinking “what the hell did I order this for!” - I’ve managed both…though less with the buying of sharp pointy objects.
Hiro’s sword was bought at a much more sensible hour. Must admit this is my first foray into shopping at insane times in the morning - not intending to make a habit of it

Could it be that the going to bed at 8pm and the being awake at 2am are in someway related given that 6 hours sleep is pretty excessive for one sitting?
God no - I need at least 8 hours sleep a night. Went to sleep at 9:30 last night, up this morning at 5 - dead to the world.
