Winter

I formally declare the summer to be over. There is a distinct chill in the air and I am wearing a jumper for the first time since… well… last winter :)

    Call this winter? Hah! Oop north we need 3 metres of permafrost before the jumpers go on. We are all still toddling around in t-shirts and sandals - with the central heating on of course.

    It’s only day 1. Give it a chance. London may well get hit by blizzards laying down 4 or 5… mm of snow as the winter closes in :)
