One presumes that the only way they could balance it was by removing the “n”. This now makes the word a 7-letter word thus allowing balancing on the middle “a” with “bal” to the left and “ced” to the right. Had the “n” been left in the word there would have been no pivotal letter on which to balance it as the centre would then have been between the “a” and the “n”. I am sure there were a considerable number of senior management meetings to discuss whether in fact the “n” or the “a” needed to be removed in order for the word to balance correctly, not to mention substantial r&d. This must therefore be deemed a triumph of collective thinking.
Alternatively there could now be one more unemployed proof reader.
[...] sucks. It would seem I’m not alone in this. Of course, your normal, well balaced [sic] person would have just taken some more cold tablets and gone back to sleep. Not me. Oh no. [...]
